Meet q'uintessential everyone! Here he is not long after his castration (thank you everyone at horsholm clinic for doing such a great job and to Thomas Dresler for organizing it all!).
I'm really excited to introduce him to you all since he is one we bred out of my old mare (he is her 3rd baby and the only one we kept). My mare helped me through my junior years and was a huge opportunity for me since she was previously a very successful grand prix mare! She unfortunatly had an injury that meant she could only do the kiddie stuff i was doing and then became our sweet broodmare! She was family to us. Q'uintessential is the 3rd baby of my mare, Corlette. He is by Quarterback and the last baby from my mare. It broke my heart to hear devastating news a few weeks ago that she lost a colic battle and unfortunately her and the foal she was carrying did not make it. I cried telling Q'uintessential his momma passed... ps. Need help finding a suitable nickname for him... his name takes so long to write! He is currently at Thomas Dresler's stable (yes i had a number barn break him in) and they have done such a great job with him! He is so sweet, kind, quiet and LOVELY to ride! I sat on him the other day and what a dream! I could canter him for days! I couldn't wish for a sweeter young horse (except maybe to grow a little bit more). i hope to get some videos of me riding him soon before he starts his summer holiday in the fields! i love all different ages, levels and styles of horses! I Can't wait to grow my team!
